G&O at NYMT August 4, 2024
This was a new show for the club. We were invited by a group that we were new to, the Roc City Scale Modelers . We ran a 2-table T-Trak layout. We had some improvisation at this show due to some unforeseen circumstances. We built up a yard using an unfinished module and put some table track on it. We also ran a Wifitrax wfd-30 wifi cab panel so we could use our phones/WiFi throttles to control trains wirelessly. Special thanks to the operators of this show, who were Rob Bartels, Rick Hartung, Kevin Glende, and Larry Hayes. John dropped by to take in the museum and to see the exhibit, and a lot of fun was had by all. We had a small focus on transit trains so there were more passenger trains run this show than we normally do. Rob ran his A mtrak Maple Leaf, His Kato E235 Yamanote EMU commuter train, and a Canadian Pacific Budd RDC We all took turns riding on the museum's current operating trolley, Trolley 168, built in 1929 for the Philadelphia & Western RR, that the museum had...
